The baptism after party was held where else but at Trouper Thorns. A classic Irish (Scottish?) / PA bar frequented by Matt and Jen. It turned out to be the perfect venue because we had the whole outdoor deck to ourselves. Our party included a rambunctious bunch of tots who all enjoyed running around being wild. The parents all enjoyed chatting happily without having to reign them in constantly.

But the real fun was with the kids ... who discovered that the tent rained when you stood in the special spot (and rained even more when Aunt Jen and Aunt Jessica pulled on it!)
Pip decided to hug me with his wet, naked self!!! Ack! (I admit feigning horror but was really in happy heaven).
Then there were the booby traps, intricately built by Pip and his new "peas in pods" buddy Mason. Pedestrians beware!
And of course, pole climbing. I asked the bartender whether this was ok ... and he replied "I think that's a question you need to answer for yourself". Touche.
