What a milestone. I thought I would cry all day long but I didn't. I was happy. I made a seal cake per his request and we invited two Mom's group friends who can not make his and Vivian's party this weekend.
Pip could not contain himself until 1pm. I think the he asked me "how many more minutes!!!" more often this morning than the whole car ride down to PA and back (and that is saying something). Finally his buds arrived and he could show off his cake.
But we had to wait for Daddy to come home to actually light it. Luckily this was early and Daddy was home by 2:30 for the festivities.

Later they all went outside and got appropriately soaked and muddy. After dinner they also opened a couple presents from Phil and I (Vivie got hers early because why not?):
