Kindergarten has Pip pooped! (By the way, he informed me yesterday that we can call him Pip until Meg turns four, after that it will be 'Philip'). He goes directly to bed everynight, usually falling asleep to the din of Vivie talking up a storm and running to the bathroom for one more pee.
Here he is rubbing the sleep out of his eyes for school! Despite the long days, he's learning SO much. He's begun to truly master the letters, both upper and lower case, and is even starting to get the concept of sounding out words. Today he was working on spelling 'T Rex' and figured out the 'T R' by sounding 'Tee Reh Reh Reh Rex' starts with 'T and then R!' Go Pip Go!
It is very sweet to watch Phil do letters with Pip after dinner each night. We have a little box of lined paper and markers and pencils. Phil works with him, gently answering questions and providing guidance here and there. Vivie is right there in the mix, wanting to so homework of her own. She even pulled out the alphabet book and read me every letter all on her own.
