It's official. Last night, after 4 hours of wild Christmas party mayhem at Liz's house, Vivian took her bath and went to bed. And didn't get up until 7am. That was about 11.25 hours of sleep. In all honestly, I did hear some moaning at one point in the night which I ignored and it went away. Pip also decided to sleep soundly, resulting in the first full night of uninterrupted sleep for Phil and I since May 29th. Actually ... for me it's even longer since for the 5 months before that I was up multiple times per night to pee.
Could it be that Phil and I will sleep through the night again tonight? I dare not ask for too much, but my fingers are crossed and my hopes are high.
I have found that if you turn off the baby monitor, they usually sleep through the night.

Baby monitor? What's that? We haven't used one at night since week 2 of Pip's life. :) Mine scream loud enoug to wake the dead, no monitor needed.
