After our inspirational trip to Portsmouth, I got the kids to make a fairy house in our backyard. Surprisingly, there was quite a bit of initial resistance from the girls. I had to get out the picture books and show them some examples, then it was the boys who got excited and started the whole thing going. Once the momentum had them, there was no stopping them.

Pirate Explorer
Some pics of Pip's newly decorated room. I always wanted a wall map that covered a whole wall. This theme let me have a dream of mine come true too.
Fall Street Faire
Pip gave the rock wall a try at the Town Faire this year! We had a much better time this year than last. No (or at least much less) fighting from the kids and we actually participated in some activities!
Soccer
It's soccer time again! This time Phil is coaching Vivie's team and assistant coaching Pip's. Sundays are very busy at our house!
Here my little players get ready to leave!
Vivie watches ... inappropriately. Yikes.
Nick is on Pip's team again this year, along with Teddy and Grace H.!
Going for a strong corner.
Very excited after a goal!!
All done!
Can I Have a Kiss?
Seriously, Meg senses my desperation. I ask for too many kisses and she's simply done giving them. To me. She'll kiss everyone else.

Stacking Cupcakes
These days it's hard to do much without Meg pulling on my leg. It's hard! Luckily, this night she went for the silicon cupcake liners I tried in a last ditch effort to free myself of her grasp so I could make dinner. She stacked and unstacked them for at least 15 minutes straight!

Stacking Bliss
Another trick to occupy Meg ... stacking silicon cupcake liners. And sauteing forks. This ate up about 20 minutes!

New Hampshire Children's Museum
Since we were up in NH anyway for the Fairy Houses, we decided to check out their children's museum. What a hit! It was small, but packed with fun things to do. Phil and I could relax (well as much as you possibly could) and let the kids explore.
Pip and Ever try to excavate some fossils.
Rhiannon and Vivie get lost in a book.
No running!
Vivie the builder. Focused builder.
Rhiannon rocked the loam!
Ever and Pip swam the Great Barrier Reef!
Fairy Houses
My friend, Lora, told me about a Fairy House tour in Portsmouth. Happened to be the weekend Rhiannon was visiting, and I thought it was a perfect activity. Turns out even the boys enjoyed it. We came home and made one of our own in the back yard.

Hiking with Al, Rhiannon, and Ever
This weekend we were very excited to have our cousin's visit! George and Jen only said hi and bye on their way to a wedding in Vermont.
Meanwhile, we found many ways to keep busy. Friday, while Pip was at school, we went for a hike in the Harold Parker forest. Our princesses found this frog!
About to snack at the big rock.
